Crash Protection in Detail
Standard is crash protection made of profile steel or crash barrier “B-profile”. For the most important purposes, we have standardized concepts that can be adapted to your operational requirements.
We differentiate between free-standing column protection (3- and 4-sided) and property protection with larger, continuous running lengths. In the standard, all individual parts are screwed together without gaps.
The protective function is usually based on energy absorption through deformation. Mechanical heavy-duty anchors or screw anchors are used as standard for the secure connection to the concrete floor. (Unfortunately, it is not possible to fix it on asphalt.) The dimensioning is based on our long experience.
A design according to DIN EN 1991-1-7 can be provided on request (special solution).
